At the time of writing, we have now had a taste of some much-improved weather, although unlike last year, it still feels unsettled.
Easter came early this year, but it was another great fortnight at Battlefield while the schools were off. The Easter Trail, Tractor Barn, and Tack Room were all in full swing and added to the sense that Spring has arrived. This was a welcome distraction from planning for the new financial year.
With full Summer nearly upon us, our new menu will reflect accordingly, and the finishing touches are being put in place for our Summer Menu launch on 20th May. Please keep a look out for this on our website.
Staying with our food offering we will shortly be launching our Battlefield Buffet Menu. We have been delighted with requests coming in for this service, so we hope to be able to provide a delicious offering in a unique Battlefield setting very soon when it is required for private parties and functions. More details to follow.
Moving outside, it’s been wonderful to see Virgin balloons in the sky again, having taken off from Battlefield. Those lucky enough to be in the basket will see that our pick you own field below is having some early groundwork done. Pumpkin seeds have arrived and soon we will be drilling another patch for you to enjoy in the Autumn. Neighbouring the pumpkins we will once again have our sunflowers and maize walk. Lots to look forward to!
At a time when there is uncertainty both home and abroad, we believe that a trip out somewhere nearby can be a lift and at Battlefield 1403 we are continuously looking for new ways to improve and develop our visitor experience. Our mission remains to be a visitor destination where everyone is welcome, therefore if you have any thoughts as to what you would like to see here one day, do please let us know, your feedback is very important.
