Kate, a member of of our Battlefield team has once again been busy planning to celebrate all things British for the day at Battlefield. 

From 10am on Sunday 10th June Battlefield will be host to:

• The Salopian Brass Band
• Maypole Dancing
• The Cadence Choir
• The Shrewsbury Scottish Country Dancers

Other attractions include:

• A traditional Craft Village, demonstrations including Beekeeping, and woodcarving amongst others.
• Ye Olde Fairground Games.
• 'Have a Go' Archery.
• Falconry Centre Bird Handling - A chance to have your photo taken with a bird of prey.

Guided church walks.

This is a first for Battlefield!  A unique opportunity to learn about the history of Battlefield Church, guided by Robert Milton and volunteers from the Churches Conservation Trust.  Walks will leave Battlefield Visitor Centre at 10.30am, 12.15pm and 2pm.  There will be a charge of £2.50 per adult and Children are free.
